COVID-19 Updates

April 6, 2020

Greetings everyone! I hope you are all finding small joys in your days as the weather warms and our new reality settles in. We've been working very hard to make sure that we can continue to provide our members and customers with the very best local, organic, delicious, and SAFE produce! Here are some of the latest updates:

Spring CSA Share: Our on-farm Spring Share is full! Crops are well underway and look gorgeous. Our on-farm pick-up will proceed on schedule (starting May 6!) with the following changes. More details will be sent directly to members:

  1. Our Spring pick-up hours will be expanded to 3-6pm Wednesday
  2. In a departure from tradition, we will be pre-packing our Spring Shares for safe and quick retrieval. The shares will be packed in a lined paper sack that is reusable at home and does not require you to return anything to the farm.

  3. We will offer both drive-up and walk-up options for our Spring Share pick-up. Just drive in to the farm during open hours and we will guide you from there!

  4. You will still be able to have your share set aside for after-hours/late week pick-up. We'll have detailed instructions for how to retrieve your share when you make your request.

  5. We anticipate many of these changes continuing into our main CSA Share Season which starts June 17. We'll be monitoring and evaluating our systems throughout the Spring and update you as soon as possible!

Farm Stand at the Farm: Our Farm Stand will open as usual alongside our Spring CSA pick-up, Wednesdays 3-6pm starting May 6! We'll have early season vegetables for sale along with our FULL ARRAY of organic seedlings for your garden. Check out our 2020 Seedling List Here and start making your wish list!

Westside Community Market: We are awaiting the final plans for the market opening! It will likely be delayed 1-2 weeks, starting either April 24 or May 2. Our set-up will look much different, but the veggies and seedlings will be ready for you! We'll have a service counter where you can view items and let us know what you'd like. We'll accept cash, check, credit cards, and Market Share/Farm Stand share cards at a dedicated station. Again, check out our 2020 Seedling List Here. We've been planting up a storm in the greenhouse and the plants look great!

NEW THIS YEAR: We will open up an online store to pre-order both seedlings and vegetables. Members can pre-pay online for a contactless transaction, and Farm Stand /Market share members can use their Market Share cards. Cards will be mailed out to members in the next couple of weeks.

At both the farm and the market, we will have a drive-up option for quickly retrieving your order.

We are so looking forward to the harvest season, the hope and nourishment that it brings, and of course the amazing food that we all get to share! See you soon!!
